Coca-Cola Vietnam sets a record with artwork from 100,000 bottles of rPET

Coca - Cola Vietnam Company has just set a record with the rPET work "Circular towards a Green Future" at Coca - Cola Factory in the South (Tay Ninh).

The work is made from 100,000 bottles of Coca - Cola 300 ml made of recycled plastic (rPET), excluding covers and labels, including 6 typical curved walls of the brand, with a total length of more than 100 m.

The content recreates Coca - Cola's sustainable development journey, from brand heritage to future vision, while conveying the message of promoting a circular economy, raising public awareness of recycling and reducing plastic waste.

Located at a LEED Gold certified factory in the food and beverage industry in Vietnam, the work marks an important milestone in Coca - Cola's technology innovation and sustainable development strategy.

Ms. Milly Cheng - General Director of Coca - Cola Vietnam emphasized: "This is not only a work of art but also affirms our long-term commitment to Vietnam. Every small action, like recycling a plastic bottle, contributes to a green future. The company will continue to invest, innovate and cooperate to bring long-term sustainable value to consumers, the environment and the community".

Coca - Cola Vietnam continues to implement a comprehensive initiative on the circular economy, is a member of NPAP and PRO Vietnam, pioneering the introduction of PET 300ml bottles made from 100% recycled plastic from 2022. The company also cooperated with The Ocean Cleanup, UNDP and implemented the program "Recycling plastic - Continuation journey" in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, promoting the habit of recycling and building a circular ecosystem.
