Swire Coca-Cola has just released a sustainable development report for 2024 with many advances in environmental protection, product improvement and community support. The company has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 17%, used 43% of renewable energy and deployed more than 24,000 energy-saving refrigerators in Vietnam.
In the US, the company implements water supply projects, while in Asia, 31% of recycled aluminum is integrated into product cans. Sales of low or sugar-free products have increased sharply, demonstrating efforts to improve public health.
In terms of human resources and gender equality, Swire Coca-Cola has a female strategic leadership ratio of 26%, operates 36% and contributes more than 28 million HKD and 190,000 hours of global volunteer time.
In Vietnam, the company aims for net zero emissions by 2050. The EkoCenter project provides clean water, digital skills training and supports local communities.
These efforts help Coca-Cola Vietnam enter the Top 10 sustainable development FDI enterprises and Top 2 CSI 100 in 2024.
