In order to strengthen the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association coordinated with units to organize the program "Medical examination for a healthier Vietnam".
At the program, 25 doctors and nurses examined, provided health consultation, distributed medicine, and gave gifts to more than 400 adults and 300 children in Lien Chieu district.
There, people can be examined, consulted, and have their questions answered about cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive diseases...
In addition, doctors also prescribe paraclinical tests for patients such as blood pressure measurement, electrocardiogram, and general abdominal ultrasound.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Head of the Emergency Resuscitation Department, Lien Chieu District Medical Center said: "This activity aims to take care of people's health, especially the elderly and children. Through general examination, we can detect diseases early so that we can promptly advise people on how to take care of their health."
This program also includes Handwashing Day with soap, instructing primary school students on 6-step handwashing.
This is also an opportunity for the organizers to present 10 gifts to poor families, policy beneficiaries, people with disabilities and more than 300 gifts and medical examinations to children.
