On June 13, An Hai Ward Police received a report about thieves stealing a three-wheeled vehicle (a type of three-wheeled vehicle carrying construction materials), worth about 30 million VND, parked on the sidewalk of a road near their house.
After receiving the report, using professional measures and verifying, on June 14, An Hai Ward Police mobilized subject Pham Xuan Dat (born in 1990, residing in An Bien ward, Hai Phong) to come to the headquarters of An Hai Ward Police to surrender.
Through investigation, on June 12, Dat and his friend Pham Quoc Dung (born in 1990, residing in An Bien ward) stole a three-wheeled vehicle and took it to the alley next to Dat's house to hide. On the same day, Dat, Dung and Dao Manh Hoang (born in 1989, residing in Le Chan ward, Hai Phong) together took the three-wheeled vehicle to sell to a person in Nam Dinh to Hai Phong for 8 million VND and shared it for spending.
Expanding the investigation of the case, the group of subjects confessed that they also stole 2 other three-wheeled vehicles in Hoang Mai residential group, An Hai ward and My Tranh residential group, An Duong ward (Hai Phong). An Hai ward police coordinated with Ninh Binh Provincial Police to seize all 3 three-wheeled vehicles as exhibits of the case.
Currently, An Hai Ward Police continue to coordinate with functional agencies to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
