On June 16, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that, implementing a peak period of attacking and suppressing drug crimes, recently, in the Gia Phu Industrial Cluster area (Gia Hung commune), Gia Hung Commune Police caught Nguyen Van Luan (born in 1993, residing in Gia Hung commune) red-handed selling illegal drugs to Do Huu Tuan (born in 1992, residing in Dai Hoang commune).
The police force seized more than 0.28g of heroin from Do Huu Tuan; more than 0.304g of heroin from Nguyen Van Luan and 1,673,000,000 VND along with 3 mobile phones.
Conducting a search of Luan's residence, the police discovered a wine jar soaked with a snake individual suspected to be a king cobra belonging to the list of endangered and rare animals.
The case is being further investigated, verified, and handled by Gia Hung Commune Police in accordance with the law.
