On April 25, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that Hien Khanh Commune Police had just inspected, discovered and arrested a drug law violation case in the area.
Through reconnaissance and grasping the situation in the area, on April 23, Hien Khanh Commune Police inspected and caught Nguyen Van Chung (born in 1996, residing in Hien Khanh commune) and Le Thu Thao (born in 2003, residing in Hanoi city) using illegal drugs in Xom Nhi area, Hien Khanh commune.
At the scene, the police agency seized 1 set of drug use tools and 0.168g of synthetic drugs.
Expanding the investigation, the police identified the drug dealer to Chung as Tran Xuan Hai (born in 1974, residing in Vu Ban commune, Ninh Binh province). Conducting an emergency search of Hai's residence, functional forces seized an additional 5.667g of synthetic drugs.
Hien Khanh Commune Police are coordinating with relevant units to continue investigating and handling the case according to legal regulations.
