On March 25, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Hop Tien Commune Police had supported verification and returned the amount of 30 million VND mistakenly transferred by Mr. Le Cong Thanh (born 1997, residing in Tan Thanh commune, Ninh Binh province) to the account of a citizen in the area.
Previously, on the morning of the same day, Mr. Le Xuan Tien (born 1990, residing in Minh Thanh village, Hop Tien commune) suddenly received 30 million VND transferred to his personal account. After checking, Mr. Tien determined that this amount of money was not transferred by relatives or friends.
Instead of keeping it, Mr. Tien proactively contacted Hop Tien Commune Police to ask for support in verifying and finding the person who transferred it by mistake.
Immediately upon receiving the information, Hop Tien Commune Police coordinated with relevant units to conduct inspection, verification and determined that the person who transferred it by mistake was Mr. Le Cong Thanh, and at the same time coordinated with Tan Thanh Commune Police (Ninh Binh province) to return the property to the right person, ensuring safety.
