On May 30, Ba Chuc Commune Police (An Giang province) said that they had just dismantled a gambling den in the form of online cockfighting for money at a coffee shop in the area, involving 15 subjects.
Previously, through reports from people about a coffee shop in Ba Chuc commune regularly having many subjects gathering to gamble in the form of online cockfighting, causing local security and order disturbances. Ba Chuc Commune Police have conducted verification and inspection.
Through inspection, the police force discovered and caught 15 subjects red-handed gambling in the form of online cockfighting for money at a coffee shop owned by Ms. D. T. H. G (born in 1977). Temporarily seized exhibits include: 1 used TV, 8 mobile phones, 9.72 million VND in cash, 7 motorbikes, 1 bicycle and 1 electric bicycle. At the police station, the subjects admitted their violations. After taking statements, the subjects were bailed out by their families according to regulations.
Currently, Ba Chuc Commune Police are continuing to verify and consolidate the file for handling according to the provisions of law.
