On May 1st, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that during patrols, functional forces discovered a subject testing positive for drugs, and also possessing heroin.
Specifically, at about 3 pm on April 29, a task force of Krong Buk Traffic Police Station stopped to inspect a motorbike with license plate 47H1-271. XX traveling from Ea H'leo commune to Pong Drang commune.
The driver, Tran Huu Trung (residing in Dak Lak), showed signs of being unconscious, and his words and actions were uncontrolled.
Suspected of using banned substances, functional forces conducted a rapid test and determined that the subject was positive for drugs.
After administrative inspection, the task force discovered in Trung's jacket pocket a syringe and a package of yellow foil containing white powder, weighing about 0.32 grams. The subject confessed to being heroin, hidden for use.
Recognizing that the case showed signs of crime, the functional forces made a record of arresting the offender red-handed, and at the same time handed over the subject and exhibits to Krong Buk Commune Police for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
Trung was also issued a record of administrative violation for the act of driving a vehicle when he had drugs in his body.
