On June 6, according to information from Vinh Long Provincial Police, Long Hoa Commune Police coordinated with the Provincial Police Investigation Agency to issue a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain Thai Duy Khang (21 years old) to investigate the act of property theft.
Previously, on May 26, Mr. D. V. D (38 years old, residing in Rach Giong hamlet, Long Hoa commune) came to the commune police to report that he had lost a motorbike, a leather wallet containing 7 million VND and many important personal papers.
Immediately after receiving the report, Long Hoa Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene to verify the incident, and at the same time synchronously deployed professional measures to investigate and arrest the subject committing the act of property theft.
Through investigation, the police force identified Thai Duy Khang (residing in Rach Ngua hamlet, Long Hoa commune) as the suspect, so they invited him to work. At the police station, Thai Duy Khang admitted his criminal acts, and at the same time confessed that after stealing, he dismantled the motorbike and hid it around the house.
Conducting an emergency search of Khang's residence, functional forces recovered all stolen property hidden in many locations around the house. The subject also voluntarily handed over the 7 million VND he had appropriated.
