On June 7, functional agencies of Gia Lai province said they are investigating and clarifying a property theft case in the area.
Previously, the unit received a report from Mr. P.M.N (born 1991, residing in Hop Thang village, Chu Prong commune, Gia Lai province) about his family being broken into and having property stolen, including: 1 Dell laptop, 1 Iphone, 1 Samsung phone, 1 Kidcare children's smartwatch and cash of about 4 million VND.
Immediately after receiving the report, Chu Prong Commune Police urgently deployed professional measures, organized forces to verify and investigate suspected subjects.
The commune police quickly coordinated with Pleiku Ward Police (where the subject temporarily resided) to urgently arrest Nguyen Van Nhi (another name is Ty Nhi, born in 1993, residing in An Hoa village, Chu Prong commune; currently renting a room in alley 270 Hung Vuong, Pleiku ward, the subject has 3 previous convictions for property theft). At the same time, exhibits of the case were seized.
At the police station, Nguyen Van Nhi admitted all of his criminal acts.
The case is being further investigated and handled by the Gia Lai Provincial Police Investigation Agency in accordance with the law.
