On May 10, Thien Hanh General Hospital (Dak Lak province) organized an event to celebrate the milestone of 145,000 babies born at the hospital and 200 babies successfully born by in vitro fertilization (IVF) at the Reproductive Support Unit - Andrology.
This is a meaningful milestone for the hospital after more than 21 years of operation in the field of maternal and baby health care in the Central Highlands region. Not only recording impressive figures, the program is also an opportunity to look back at the journey of persistent companionship with many families during pregnancy, childbirth and infertility treatment.
In addition to in vitro fertilization (IVF), the unit also effectively implements many other assisted reproductive methods such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), contributing to realizing the dream of becoming parents for infertile couples.
In the warm atmosphere of Mother's Day, the program has the participation of the family of the 145,000th baby born at the hospital and the family of the 200th IVF baby of IVF Thien Hanh.
Touching stories about the journey of pregnancy, waiting for the beloved child and the moment the baby cried to welcome life shared through video, the exchange and gift giving at the event left many emotions for the attending guests.
Thien Hanh Reproductive Support Unit - Andrology officially went into operation in 2023. After nearly 4 years of implementation, the unit has accompanied many infertile families on the journey to find their beloved children, successfully supporting more than 200 IVF babies to be born healthy and currently continuing to monitor pregnancy for more than 120 other IVF cases.
