On March 30, Hue Central Hospital said that the unit had just signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with MicroPort MedBot (China) and Hanoi Foreign Medical to establish the first Vietnam - China Robot Surgery Training Center in Vietnam.
According to the agreement, the center will be located at Hue Central Hospital, aiming for in-depth training in robot surgery, serving domestic and international doctors.
The parties will coordinate to develop standardized training programs, transfer modern robot technology, and promote research and academic activities in the field of robot surgery.
In which, Hue Central Hospital takes on the role of expertise and training; MicroPort MedBot provides technology and technical support; Hanoi Foreign Medical participates in coordination and operation.
The project is expected to contribute to expanding training, popularizing robot surgery techniques, improving medical capacity and affirming the pioneering role of Hue Central Hospital in applying high technology.
