Previously, on January 3, 2025, Nguyen Doan Anh Thu (born in 1986, permanent residence in Chau Thanh commune, An Giang province) organized illegal drug use at his private home. After the investigation agency issued an arrest warrant to temporarily detain her for investigation, Thu fled to Ho Chi Minh City to work for hire and help with housework for relatives.
On July 23, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police issued a wanted notice and prosecuted Nguyen Doan Anh Thu for organizing illegal use of drugs.
