On June 22, Son La Provincial People's Committee held a Conference to announce and award decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.
At the conference, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 1476/QD-UBND dated June 20, 2026 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on receiving Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chieng Khuong commune, to work at the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; and at the same time appointed him to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Center.
The term of appointment is 5 years from June 20, 2026.
Presenting the decision and flowers to congratulate, Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong acknowledged Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien's contributions in the process of working in previous positions. At the same time, he expressed his belief that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien will continue to promote his capacity, experience, and sense of responsibility, and together with the leadership team of the Center to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, create favorable conditions for the new Deputy Director to soon access work; proactively coordinate with departments, branches, and localities in investment promotion, trade, tourism promotion and agricultural product consumption support, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the province.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thien thanked the trust of the provincial leaders, and at the same time committed to continue to learn, train, promote the spirit of responsibility, and together with the unit's collective to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the overall development of Son La province.
