On March 9, My Quy Tay Border Guard Station (Tay Ninh province) said that the unit had completed the file and handed over the subject Le Anh Tuan to the Criminal Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to continue investigating according to their authority for the act of "murder".
Previously, on March 5, My Quy Tay Border Guard Station received a request for coordination from the Ho Chi Minh City Police regarding the search for a particularly dangerous subject related to a murder case that occurred in Binh Chanh commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
The suspect was identified as Le Anh Tuan (born in 2004, residing in Duy Ha ward, Ninh Binh province). After committing the crime, Tuan crossed the border into Cambodia and hid in the casino area in Som Rong commune, Chanh Tria district, Svay Rieng province.
By professional measures and grasping the situation in the outer border area, the border guard force determined the location of the subject. My Quy Tay Border Guard Station then coordinated with the Immigration Police force at the Sam Rong Friendship Border Gate (Cambodia) to deploy a plan to pursue and arrest them.
Before the tightening of the functional forces, Tuan was mobilized to surrender to enjoy the leniency of the law.
By 11:15 pm on March 6, My Quy Tay Border Guard Station had completed procedures to receive the subject from Cambodia and escort him to the unit.
Currently, the case is being further investigated, clarified and handled by the Ho Chi Minh City Police in accordance with the law.
