On July 31, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security organized a conference to summarize the 2025 - 2026 school year in People's Police (CAND) academies and schools.
Speaking at the Conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Public Security - emphasized that the 2025-2026 school year takes place in the context of many major changes in the country, the Party and State implement many important policies, implement a series of key Resolutions, and rearrange the government organization model from the Central to local levels.
With the role of setting an example, the Police force has implemented major policies and decisions of the Party and State in a drastic and methodical manner in many fields and achieved many remarkable results, including education and training.
Regarding tasks in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the People's Police academies and schools to be determined to emulate to excellently complete the tasks of the 2026 - 2027 school year; continue to raise awareness, innovate thinking and action; determine strong political determination to implement the breakthrough task of developing education and training assigned in the 2026 - 2027 school year.
In which, it is necessary to clarify the task of breakthrough education and training in the spirit of carefully considering the results achieved at what level to have solutions to continue to promote breakthroughs further.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung assigned the Department of Training and People's Police academies and schools to continue to advise on reviewing and adjusting the content and training programs in the People's Police to ensure training according to practical problems, job positions, and strengthen field trips to provide additional high-quality human resources, solid in law, proficient in nghiệp vụ, with knowledge of science, technology, foreign languages and skills to handle complex security and order situations right from the beginning and right at the grassroots level.
Continue to spread and promote the good teaching movement in People's Police academies and schools; promote the rotation and practical work for teachers to increase the vivid reality for lectures; build a common curriculum and teaching materials in the People's Police.
Along with that, focus on building and developing comprehensive training and fostering plans for the commune-level Police force; effectively implementing the Government and the Ministry of Public Security's programs and plans on digital transformation, effectively serving the education and training of the People's Public Security Forces.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister requested to promote digital transformation, apply artificial intelligence in admissions; including organizing well the second-level university entrance exam for new admissions in 2026.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung also reminded functional units of the Ministry of Public Security, especially the Training Department, academies, and People's Police schools to urgently implement the Project "Making English a second language in schools" and the Project "Strengthening foreign language teaching and learning" in the People's Police.
