On May 16, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that Phuoc Tinh Border Guard Station in coordination with Phuoc Hung Commune Police (Long Dat district) had just arrested 2 subjects for illegal possession of drugs.
Through the work of grasping the area, on the afternoon of May 15, the authorities monitored and caught Le Van Dang (born in 2007, from Bac Lieu) and Ly Thuol (born in 1992, from Soc Trang) in the act of illegally storing drugs.
When being checked by the authorities, Dang was holding a sealed white plastic bag containing crystal meth, weighing 0.9 grams. Through investigation, the two subjects confessed that the above drugs were purchased for mutual use.
Currently, the Border Guard is verifying and clarifying, completing the dossier to hand over to the Provincial Police for handling according to regulations.
