Content on conditions and procedures for applying for temporary admission postponement for cases of continuing education to university level.
Citizens wondered: "I have completed the college level training program and have completed the procedure for transferring military service registration once. Currently, I am continuing to study continuing to university level. I would like to ask: Is the case of studying continuing to university after graduating from college eligible for temporary postponement of military service according to the provisions of the Law on Military Service? If eligible for postponement, what components of dossiers and documents do I need to prepare and send to which agency to carry out the procedures?
Answering on the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, the functional agency of the Ministry of National Defense said that the temporary postponement of military service calls in peacetime for citizens who are students is stipulated in point g, clause 1, Article 41 of the Law on Military Service No. 78/2015/QH13: "Being studying at a general education institution; being trained at the regular university level under a higher education institution, the regular college level under a vocational education institution during a training course of a training level".
In case citizens continue to study for articulation to university after graduating from college, they will not be subject to temporary postponement of conscription according to the provisions of the Law on Military Service as stated above because they have been temporarily postponed from conscription in a training course of a college training level.
