On February 17, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Naval Region 5 Command organized the 2025 Technical Innovation and Innovation Competition.
Participating in the contest are 19 initiatives and technical improvements selected from the preliminary round at agencies and units in the Region.
According to the judges' assessment, the contest took place seriously, with quality, and in accordance with regulations. The products participating in the competition all apply domestic technology, autonomous technology researched and manufactured by officers and soldiers, highly applicable in practice, meeting the requirements of training, combat readiness and ensuring techniques at the unit.
Typical products include: semi-automatic Tig welding; AVR circuit (capacity from 0-200KVA) replacing the original AVR of the DCA-Denyo 60Esi2 power source station; main engine control system at the cabin position on the FC-24 ship.
According to Colonel Trinh Xuan Tung, Commander of the Region, the competition aims to evaluate the results of research initiatives and technical improvements of agencies and units; encourage the effective application of technical solutions, scientific research results, and technology development to training tasks, combat readiness, and contribute to building a disciplined and modern technical sector of the Region.
After the contest, the Organizing Committee will select products with good quality to award prizes and issue certificates.
