On June 5, Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, An Giang Provincial Police, in coordination with An Giang Intermediate School No. 1, held a graduation ceremony and awarded certificates of civil electrical profession to 30 students being rehabilitated at the facility. Attending the ceremony were Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Buol - Deputy Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police; Mr. Ngo Van Ngan - Vice Principal of An Giang Intermediate School No. 1 and the Command Board of Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2.
The civil electricity vocational training course is implemented from February 26 to April 24, 2026 with the participation of 30 students.

In nearly 2 months, the trainees were equipped with knowledge from theory to practice on labor safety, design and construction of lighting networks, use of household electrical appliances, business start-up skills and many other practical professional contents. Although the training time was not long, with the serious learning spirit of the trainees and the dedicated guidance of the teaching staff and officers and soldiers of Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, 100% of the trainees completed the program and met the year-end test requirements. As a result, all trainees were granted certificates of civil electrical profession by An Giang 1 Intermediate School, of which 90% achieved good and excellent grades.

On this occasion, Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 continued to coordinate with An Giang 1 Intermediate School to open 2 more vocational training classes in refrigeration and basic construction for 60 students being detoxified at the facility.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Buol acknowledged the spirit of overcoming difficulties and studying efforts of the trainees, and highly appreciated the effective coordination between Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 and An Giang 1 Intermediate School in vocational training for drug addicts.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Buol wished the trainees to see the vocational certificates awarded today as an important baggage to access employment support policies, including preferential capital sources according to Decision No. 08 of the Prime Minister on credit for people after detoxification. Thereby, promoting the knowledge and skills that have been equipped to create jobs, stabilize life, reintegrate into the community and become useful people for family and society.
For the 2 newly opened vocational classes, leaders of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police requested lecturers and students to strictly implement the training program, strive to achieve high results, and create a solid foundation for the process of reintegrating into the community later.
