On May 20, Tan My Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that recently, in the area, there has been a situation where some teenagers arbitrarily changed the vehicle structure, modified the engine, and removed silencers to create loud explosions when participating in traffic.
This situation affects security and order, people's lives and poses a potential risk of traffic unsafety.
Faced with the above situation, Tan My Commune Police have strengthened patrols and inspections to promptly detect and rectify violations.
The Commune Police force arranges night patrol teams on roads and areas where youth gatherings, revving engines, revving engines, and driving vehicles at high speed often occur, such as Cau Ngo intersection, Provincial Road 564 intersection and some other key roads.
Along with patrols and inspections, Tan My Commune Police coordinate with families, schools and mass organizations to promote propaganda and disseminate legal regulations related to acts of arbitrarily changing vehicle structure, causing public disorder and potential traffic accident risks.
Through actual inspection, functional forces have discovered and reminded many cases of teenagers driving motorbikes showing signs of engine modification.
The commune police requested violators to self-remove equipment that is not in accordance with regulations, and commit not to re-offend. At the same time, functional forces will resolutely strictly handle cases of intentional violations according to regulations.
Notably, Tan My Commune Police have reminded and rectified 2 cases of teenagers modifying car exhaust pipes with acts of revving engines and revving exhaust pipes causing public disorder.
Tan My Commune Police also recommends that parents pay attention to and manage their children; do not hand over vehicles to people who are not qualified to drive. At the same time, regularly remind and educate to limit violations of the law and prevent traffic accidents.
