On the morning of July 4, at Vinh University, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, Vietnam Student Association of Nghe An province organized the Launching Ceremony of the Youth Volunteer Campaign "Green Summer" 2026.
The program was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, universities and colleges in the area, and more than 850 volunteer youths from 32 teams.
The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has been implemented for 27 years nationwide. Among them, "Green Summer" is one of the key activities, with the core force being students from universities and colleges.

In 2026, Nghe An has 32 teams participating in the campaign, from Vinh University, Vinh Medical University, Vinh University of Technology and Education, Nghe An College of Culture and Arts and some other units.
In which, Vinh University has the largest force with 22 teams participating in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, especially the "Green Summer" Campaign has 11 teams.
According to the plan, the teams will deploy activities in many mountainous communes and difficult areas of Nghe An province such as Tuong Duong, Con Cuong. In addition, volunteer students also participate in activities at Kim Lien Special National Relic Area, Truong Bon National Historical Relic Area, Nghe An Hematology - Blood Transfusion Center, SOS Children's Village Vinh.

In this year's campaign, student volunteer teams will participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, building rural roads, and building social security projects in difficult areas.
In addition, volunteer forces will transfer scientific and technical advances, organize summer cultural review classes, propagate laws, take care of people's health, and support people to register and use online public services.
Notably, this year's campaign continues to have a volunteer team going to Xieng Khouang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, to deploy volunteer activities, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship between young people of the two countries.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Nghe An Provincial Student Association proposed that volunteer teams focus on practical, effective, and safe tasks; choose activities close to the actual needs of the locality.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, some volunteer teams set off to the assigned areas to deploy activities in the "Green Summer" Campaign 2026.
