On the morning of July 20, in Tra On commune, Vinh Long province, the Vinh Long Student Association - Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in coordination with Tra On commune union and accompanying units organized the launching ceremony of the Green Summer Campaign in 2025.
Also within the framework of the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 10 gifts including: 10kg of gao, 1kg of sugar, 1 bottle of soy sauce, to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution, practically towards the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the soldiers coordinated with the provincial Department of Health, Vinh Long General Hospital and Tra On Commune Health Station to conduct medical examinations, health consultations, provide free medicine and give gifts to 150 people in difficult circumstances and lonely elderly people.
In addition to professional activities, the soldiers also participated in spreading shelters, implementing flower routes, propagating laws, accident prevention skills, organizing cultural and sports exchanges, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere, connecting with local youth.
The campaign took place over 3 days, from July 20 to 22, with the participation of more than 120 soldiers who are students, association members and trainees.
