On December 7, at C500 Stadium - Security Academy, Hanoi, the closing ceremony of the 2025 UAV Innovation Contest - PV GAS Cup: "Homeland's Sky" was solemnly held, concluding a vibrant season with the participation of hundreds of students, lecturers, experts, leaders of state management units and business representatives.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Dinh Tan Hung - Director of the Institute of Space and Waterway Technology (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) said that the PVGAS 2025 UAV Cup Creative Competition program is the first national competition on UAVs in Vietnam.
The script is built to suit the abilities of students in designing and manufacturing UAV products with sufficient intelligence combined with skillful control skills, welcoming more than 100 enthusiastic competitors from all over the country. With the online support of the technical consulting team, the teams have overcome the challenges of the preliminary rounds.
After nearly 3 months, the teams have directly created products, independently competed and experienced challenges with direct, transparent and public competitions. This is also the desire of the Organizing Committee in sending a message to build a new research culture with the young generation of industrial research, challenging each other to gradually form products that are competitive enough to meet practical needs in the future - Dr. Dinh Tan Hung emphasized.
Right within the framework of the closing ceremony, the most important matches of the season took place with the third-place match between VANLANGUAV Team - Van Lang University and LH'T Human Team - Lac Hong University. The Final match of the BK'IAV Team - Hanoi University of Science and Technology against SKY VISION Team - Ton Duc Thang University.
The two matches presented the audience with exciting and attractive UAV performances, clearly demonstrating the bravery, technique and tactical thinking of the teams. After a challenging, intense competition journey and many breath-throwing moments, the highest position of UAV CUP PV GAS 2025 has officially belonged to SKY VISION Team.
At the closing ceremony, Dr. Dinh Tan Hung, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, respectfully thanked all organizers for their support and coordination for nearly 3 months since the announcement of the information until today, to achieve the success of the PVGAS 2025 National UAV Creative Competition - a new entertainment competition, a new, suitable playground and meeting the current innovation requirements.
With the initial good results achieved, the Organizing Committee announced that in 2026, there will be 2 more competitions. 1 UAV 2026 creative competition with better scripts, greater challenges and 1 UUV 2026 creative competition - creating smart aircraft with interesting and unique scripts. The expected time is July-July-summer 2026, and detailed information will be announced specifically in the nearest time.
The 2025 UAV Innovation Competition - PV GAS Cup does not stop at the framework of a tournament, but has truly become a forum for connecting education - business - creativity, opening up opportunities for career development and research for young talents.
The theme "Homeland's Sky" was demonstrated throughout the competition to the spirit of the program - arousing national pride, responsibility for the country and the desire to master the sky using Vietnamese technology.
