On April 15-16, 2026, due to the impact of complicated weather diễn biến, prolonged heavy rain has caused many risks of landslides, tree falls and affected people's lives in the area.
Faced with that situation, the police of Vo Lao and Xuan Quang communes quickly and synchronously deployed measures to prevent, respond to and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to maintaining security and order, and ensuring safety for the people.

In Vo Lao commune, the Commune Police force has promoted its core role, proactively advising the Party Committee and local authorities to deploy disaster prevention and control plans.
During the two days of heavy rain, the unit mobilized 15 officers and soldiers and 20 members of the security and order force at the grassroots level to organize inspections and reviews of areas at risk of landslides, especially on roads and key residential areas.
Through actual inspection, functional forces have planted 6 warning signs at dangerous points, and at the same time propagated and reminded people to raise awareness of disaster prevention.

Immediately upon receiving the information, Xuan Quang Commune Police mobilized 10 officers and soldiers and 7 members of the grassroots security and order force to urgently be present at the scene.
Although weather conditions are still difficult, the force has coordinated with the family to cut, clear fallen trees, and reinforce the damaged roof.
During the support process, the forces handled and cleared 5 large trees and 2 small trees that fell on inter-village roads, ensuring smooth traffic and preventing prolonged congestion.
