On January 27, the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department, An Giang Provincial Police organized a conference to evaluate the results of escorting subjects with prison sentences who are still outside society.
At the conference, leaders of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Department briefly reported on the situation and results of the work of reviewing, searching for, and escorting subjects who have been sentenced to imprisonment but have not complied, and are still outside society in the past time.
Functional units have proactively advised the Provincial Police Directorate to drastically direct, synchronously mobilize forces and professional measures, closely coordinate with grassroots police and related sectors, thereby organizing the escort of many subjects to ensure compliance with legal regulations and absolute safety for people and vehicles.
The outstanding advantages recognized by the conference are the high sense of responsibility of the force working in criminal judgment enforcement; proactively grasping the situation, preparing dossiers to manage subjects. The coordination between units is increasingly close and effective. The escort process ensures the strictness of the law, while maintaining stability of security and order in the grassroots area.

Besides the achieved results, the conference also frankly pointed out some limitations and shortcomings, such as: the work of reviewing and updating subject information in some areas is not timely; the coordination between grassroots police and professional units is sometimes, in some places, not really synchronized; some subjects change their residence and avoid, causing difficulties for the process of searching and escorting.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Colonel Tran Van Cung, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, acknowledged and praised the efforts and results that the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department and the Police of units and localities have achieved. At the same time, he requested units to continue to improve their sense of responsibility, tighten discipline and order, and thoroughly overcome the shortcomings and limitations that have been pointed out.
In the coming time, units need to promote the review and strict management of subjects with prison sentence enforcement decisions. Strengthen coordination between forces, promote the core role of grassroots police. Strictly implement procedures and regulations in escort work, ensuring absolute safety, in accordance with the law, contributing to maintaining security and order.
