The grassroots delegation of the Mobile Police Department and the Youth Union of the Internal Security Department of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with local authorities, youth union members and people of My Hoa hamlet, My Thuan commune (An Giang) to organize the construction of a rural traffic bridge at canal 1. More than 70 officials, union members, grassroots forces and people joined forces to participate in the implementation.
The bridge is built with a length of 29m, a width of 3.5m, a designed load of 5 tons, and a total cost of about 350 million VND from socialization mobilization. This is a project of practical significance, contributing to gradually completing rural transport infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development and improving the quality of life of people in the locality.
In difficult construction conditions, hot weather, narrow ground, but officers and soldiers of the People's Police and forces did not mind the hardship, directly participating in transporting materials, mixing concrete, pouring bridge surfaces... Each concrete bucket passed by hand, each cement bag carried on the shoulder not only showed a sense of responsibility, determination to complete the project on schedule, but also left a deep impression and good feeling in the hearts of the People.
Along with the Police force, a large number of local people have actively joined hands and united to participate in labor, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, urgency and affection. The close and close coordination between the Police force and the People continues to affirm the blood relationship, contributing to building a solid people's security posture right from the grassroots level.
After completion, the bridge will help people's travel and trade in goods more conveniently, ensure safety for students going to school, especially in the rainy and flood season; and at the same time eliminate traffic points that pose a risk of unsafety. This is not only a traffic project, but also a project imbued with humanistic meaning, showing social responsibility and the beautiful image of a People's Police soldier who is close to the people, for the people.
Through this meaningful activity, the youth of the Mobile Police Department and the Internal Security Department of An Giang Provincial Police continue to affirm their core and pioneering role in patriotic emulation movements, joining hands to build new rural areas, and achieving practical achievements to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, for the peaceful and happy life of the People.
