On June 4, An Giang Provincial Police held a conference to announce the conclusions of inspection and assessment of all aspects of Police work in the first 6 months of 2026 for the Police of communes, wards, and special zones belonging to Rach Gia cluster, including: Rach Gia, Vinh Thong, Binh An, My Thuan, Chau Thanh and Kien Hai.
In the first 6 months of 2026, the Police of communes, wards, and special zones under Rach Gia Cluster have closely followed the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police; seriously implemented plans and work orders; proactively grasped the situation of the area and subjects; focused on synchronously implementing solutions to ensure security and order, and maintain social order and safety right from the grassroots level.
The commune-level police force proactively and promptly resolves arising cases related to security and order, preventing the formation of complicated and prolonged cases. The work of fighting and preventing crime and social evils continues to be strengthened.
The police of communes, wards, and special zones have effectively implemented targets and tasks on administrative management, Project 06 of the Government; organized reviews and updates of population data, carried out peak general residence inspections in the area; the rate of receiving citizen identification card applications on the online public service portal reached over 90%. Actively collecting and updating information on relatives of unidentified martyrs, preparing necessary conditions to serve DNA collection according to the direction of the Ministry of Public Security...
