On the afternoon of June 1st, An Giang Provincial Police solemnly held a ceremony to announce the Decision on promotion and salary increase in 2026 for officers and soldiers throughout the force.
In 2026, An Giang Provincial Police have 1,726 cadres and soldiers who meet the standards and conditions to be proposed to the Minister of Public Security to decide on promotion and salary increase according to regulations (including 14 comrades under the authority of the Minister to decide, 1,712 comrades under the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Director of the Provincial Police to consider and decide). At the ceremony, leaders of the Organization and Personnel Department announced the Decisions of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of the Provincial Police on promotion and salary increase in 2026 for cadres and soldiers who meet the conditions.
This is not only the recognition and evaluation of the Party, State and the Police sector for the training, striving, and dedication of officers and soldiers, but also shows deep concern for the work of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern People's Police force. Each decision to promote ranks and raise salaries is an important milestone, recognizing the efforts, achievements and sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers in performing the task of protecting political security, maintaining social order and safety, for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Han, Director of An Giang Provincial Police, congratulated the comrades who were promoted to ranks and increased salaries in 2026; and affirmed that this is not only an honor and pride of each individual but also a great responsibility before the Party, State, People and People's Police force.
The Director of the Provincial Police requested officers and soldiers to continue to promote the glorious tradition of the People's Police force, maintain revolutionary ethical qualities, firm political bravery, uphold the spirit of "For the country, forgetting oneself, serving the people"; constantly study, train, improve professional qualifications, be proactive and creative in work, and be ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
