On June 4, Colonel Dao Hai Dang, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, had a field survey and worked with the Aviation Security Team of the Immigration Management Department, An Giang Provincial Police to assess the situation and results of aviation security and safety assurance in the province in the past time.
At the working session, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Truong Giang, Head of the Aviation Security Team, reported to the working delegation on the situation of deploying all aspects of aviation security assurance; coordination between functional forces in checking and controlling passengers, vehicles, and goods; grasping the situation, preventing, detecting, and combating violations of the law related to aviation activities; and at the same time proposing and suggesting some contents related to facilities, equipment, and duty and on-duty regimes to serve task requirements in the new situation.

After directly surveying the actual workplace, security inspection and control area and listening to the unit's report, Colonel Dao Hai Dang acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility and proactiveness of officers and soldiers of the Aviation Security Team in performing their duties, contributing to ensuring absolute security and safety of aviation activities, serving the travel needs of the people and socio-economic development of the locality.
Speaking to direct at the working session, Colonel Dao Hai Dang requested the Aviation Security Team to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, the Immigration Department and aviation security assurance procedures; proactively grasp the situation early and from afar, absolutely not to be passive or surprised in any situation. The comrade emphasized that the Aviation Security force must regularly improve their sense of responsibility, tighten discipline and work order; strengthen patrols and inspections, and closely coordinate with functional forces to promptly detect and prevent violations of the law, ensuring absolute security and safety for aviation activities.
In addition, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police also requested the unit to pay attention to political and ideological education, improve professional qualifications, and the ability to handle situations for officers and soldiers; promote the application of science and technology, effectively use professional technical equipment to serve aviation security inspection and supervision; build a united, regular, and elite collective, meeting the requirements of tasks in the current situation.
