On September 2nd, Hanoi City Police launched 3 key technology products and solutions including a production line of wireless fire alarm equipment, the "Hanoi Smart Police" application and phase 2 UAV security and order monitoring solution.
These are solutions to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

The products are researched and deployed to improve command capacity, support functional forces to quickly handle situations, and at the same time aim to serve people and build a safe and civilized living space.
Wireless fire alarm equipment production line
Hanoi City Police coordinated with the Academy of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue to research and apply the production of wireless fire alarm equipment. The product has been granted a certificate of conformity by the Department of Telecommunications (Ministry of Information and Communications).
In order to proactively supply and optimize costs, the City Police assigned Thang 8 Company to operate the production line at facility 3, Tu Liem ward, Hanoi City.
The solution is expected to help people, business households and production facilities easily access fire warning equipment early at a reasonable cost, thereby improving escape capabilities and minimizing damage when incidents occur.
Hanoi Smart Police" Application
The Hanoi Smart Police application (Hanoi Smart Police) is developed as a mini app on the iHanoi platform, including 2 subsystems serving people and serving internal affairs and command.
For people, the application allows sending field reports, activating SOS signals in emergencies, scheduling work, searching for area police phone numbers, fire prevention and fighting infrastructure, parking spots and traffic conditions.

The application also integrates AI virtual assistants to support answering information for people.
For the Police force, the 3D/4D digital map integrated system is source coded by Vietnam, supporting officers and soldiers to monitor the situation, analyze data and operate tasks in real time.
Security and order surveillance UAV enters phase 2
The solution uses unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) combined with AI cameras, playing a supporting role in overhead monitoring, helping to detect traffic violations, congestion points, accidents and fire and explosion incidents early.
According to statistics in the testing phase from June 1 to August 30, 2026, the UAV system directly handled 131 cases of urban order and traffic safety violations; transferred 1,873 cases for remote fines.
The system also supported the resolution of 2 traffic accidents and coordinated 38 traffic congestion clearance trips.
In the coming time, Hanoi City Police will continue to train officers to operate the "Hanoi Smart Police" application, and improve institutions and technical standards for UAVs.
At the same time, the unit will expand the supply of wireless fire alarm equipment to high-risk areas, before reporting to competent authorities for consideration and deployment.
