On the evening of August 12, the City Police informed that in the context of the increasing number of foreigners coming to Hai Phong to work, invest, study and travel, the City Police has implemented many synchronous measures to strictly implement the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners.
The Immigration Management Department coordinates with local police to regularly review and inspect accommodation establishments, businesses, update residence changes, and strictly handle violations. From the beginning of 2026 to now, the City Police have fined 119 violations. Previously, in 2025, 119 cases were handled.
The City Police focuses on propaganda and guidance for businesses and accommodation establishments, helping to improve management responsibility, promptly detect and prevent violations. At the same time, the city promotes the application of technology, data connection, supporting residence monitoring, contributing to ensuring security and order, creating a safe, stable and friendly environment for the international community in Hai Phong.
