On March 24, Kon Tum Provincial Police said that the unit is investigating the causes of traffic accidents on National Highway 24.
Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on March 23, at Km 114+200 on National Highway 24, through Mang Den town (Kon Plong district), an accident occurred between a truck with license plate 81H-00702 driven by Mr. Pham Van (23 years old, residing in Ba To district, Quang Ngai province), traveling in the direction from Kon Tum to Quang Ngai.
When arriving at the above location, the truck collided with a motorbike with license plate 82LA-00975 driven by Mr. A Chan (28 years old), carrying his wife, Ms. Y Ngo (26 years old) and son A Chi Hao (3 years old, both residing in Mang But commune, Kon Plong district).
As a result, Ms. Y Ngo died on the spot, Mr. A must be slightly injured.
At 7:15 a.m. on March 24, at Km 139+600 on National Highway 24 (Tan Lap Commune, Kon Ray District), a car with license plate 82A-141.83 was traveling from Kon Tum to Quang Ngai when it collided with a motorbike with license plate 82K1-012.25 traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident injured one person and severely damaged the vehicles.
National Highway 24 is a vital traffic route passing through mountainous districts, with many continuous pass roads and curves, causing a high risk of traffic collisions.
