On July 1, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Lao Chai Commune Police quickly verified and coordinated to handle a group of young people driving motorbikes swerving and zigzagging on National Highway 32 after receiving information reflected from social networks.
Previously, on the morning of June 30, Lao Chai Commune Police received information about a clip posted on Facebook recording the scene of 4 young men riding on 3 motorbikes (including 1 person sitting behind), not wearing helmets, speeding, swerving, zigzagging, and cutting off cars on National Highway 32, passing through Khao Mang commune.
After only about 40 minutes of verification, Lao Chai Commune Police identified 3 drivers, including 1 person in Lao Chai commune and 2 people in Khao Mang commune, and at the same time coordinated with the Traffic Police force to invite violators to work.

At the police station, G.A. C (born in 2008, residing in Lao Chai commune) admitted to driving a motorbike with license plate 21-AA-222.72 at high speed, swerving, zigzagging, speeding, and overtaking recklessly as reflected in the clip.
After completing the dossier, Lao Chai Commune Police handed over the violator and the vehicle to Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 for handling according to their authority.
Functional forces have issued decisions to sanction administrative violations against violators for the following acts: not wearing a helmet, driving a vehicle without rearview mirrors, not having a driver's license; and at the same time made a record for the vehicle owner for the act of handing over the vehicle to a person who is not qualified to drive. The total fine amount is 17 million VND.
