The children are also equipped with situations handling skills, ways to prevent the risk of drowning and ensure safety when participating in water activities.
Organizing free swimming lessons is a very practical and meaningful activity in the context that in recent times, many drowning incidents have occurred in Ha Tinh, causing many children to die. The situation of drowning is even more worrying as summer comes.
According to a report by the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, in the first 6 months of 2026, 13 drowning accidents occurred in the province, killing 15 children.
Over the past time, Ha Tinh province has issued many directives focusing on solutions to ensure safety for children, in which attention is paid to drowning prevention in children, especially in the summer.
