During the 2 days of March 30-31, Working Group 373 of Nghe An Provincial Police discovered, prevented and handled more than 50 cases of teenagers gathering and driving motorbikes in violation of the law, causing disorder in traffic safety and public order.
Notably, the group of subjects is mainly between the ages of 15 and 20, without a driver's license, and without vehicle documents. Many cases have had their license plates removed or covered, driven in a zigzag manner, swerved, speeded over the handlebars, and did not wear helmets. Some also brought weapons and gathered with signs of disturbing public order.
On the evening of March 31, Group 373 patrolled the central routes of Vinh City, the 72m road to Cua Lo, National Highway 1, the road along Lam River, the Ho Chuyen Hoa area... Thereby, the authorities discovered and handled more than 30 teenagers residing in Vinh City and neighboring districts.
The police have drawn up 21 administrative violation records for common violations such as: not wearing a helmet, carrying people without a helmet, no license plate, no driver's license, no horn, no rearview mirror.
The authorities have temporarily detained 17 motorbikes, 4 driving licenses and 1 sword.
According to Nghe An Provincial Police, in the coming time - especially during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony, April 30 and May 1.5 - Working Group 373 will continue to increase patrols and controls on key routes, commercial centers, entertainment areas, festivals... to ensure traffic order and safety and prevent disorder.
