On April 20, Phuc Loi Ward Police (Hanoi) said they had just successfully rescued a child trapped on the 3rd floor of a villa.
According to initial information, at about 2:45 pm on April 18, Phuc Loi Ward Police received a report about a child locking himself in the toilet, not contacting relatives and showing signs of climbing out to the 3rd floor balcony area, posing a potential safety risk at a villa in the urban area in the area.
Immediately after receiving the report, the police force urgently sent a working group, coordinated with urban area security and families to approach the scene and deploy safety measures.
Through verification, the baby was born in 2012. Due to conflicts in family life, the baby had impulsive actions, locked the door, did not cooperate and moved to a dangerous area.
Faced with the emergency situation, the working group flexibly applied many measures, combining mobilization and reassurance; and at the same time coordinated with the Urban Area Management Board to use external access ladders, ensuring safety during handling.
After a period of persistent persuasion and deploying appropriate plans, functional forces took the baby out of the dangerous area and handed him over to his family in a safe state.
The child's family expressed their emotion and thanked the Phuc Loi Ward Police force for their sense of responsibility, timely support, and prevention of the risk of unfortunate incidents.
The incident shows the proactive and timely spirit of grassroots police forces in ensuring security and order, for the safety of the people.
