On January 13, news from Cam Lam Commune Police said that in the past time, functional forces have continuously discovered and handled cases related to drug crimes.
Typically, on January 11, 2026, through monitoring and grasping the situation in the area, Cam Lam Commune Police conducted an administrative inspection of a level-4 house in Tan Lap village, Cam Lam commune.
Here, functional forces discovered 4 subjects including L.T.L (born 1995, residing in Phu Binh 1 village), H.H.T (born 1994, residing in Cam Lam commune), N.D.D (born 2000, residing in Suoi Hiep commune) and P.K.H (born 2004, residing in Phu Binh 1 village).
Through inspection, the police discovered many tools used to illegally use drugs in the house.
The task force made a record, temporarily seized and sealed the exhibits, and at the same time took the subjects to the headquarters to work. Initially, the subjects confessed to illegally using drugs on the night of January 10, 2026.
Expanding the investigation, Cam Lam Commune Police coordinated with the Drug Crime Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to arrest and search the residence of subject B.Q.T (born 1997, residing in Cuu Loi village, Cam Lam commune) - who was identified as selling drugs to the above group of subjects.
During the search, functional forces seized 2 sealed nylon bags, 7 sealed straws containing white crystals suspected to be drugs, along with many related exhibits including scissors, a scale and a set of drug use tools.
By January 12, 2026, the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police issued an emergency detention order and decided to temporarily detain 4 subjects.
Among them, 3 subjects were temporarily detained for the act of organizing the illegal use of drugs, 1 subject was temporarily detained for the act of illegally trading drugs.
The case is being further investigated and handled by the Drug Crime Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police according to the provisions of law.
