Ninh Binh Provincial Police has just informed that on December 31, 2025, while on duty, the task force of Khanh Hoi Commune Police discovered Vu Minh Dai (residing in Khanh Hoi commune, Ninh Binh province) driving a Wave A motorbike, license plate 35AE-015.90 traveling on the inter-communal road, showing many suspicious signs. The task force conducted an inspection of Vu Minh Dai.
During the inspection, the Task Force discovered on Dai's vehicle containing 5 boxes of exploding fireworks, type 49 fireworks/1 box manufactured abroad with a total weight of 8.236kg.
Vu Minh Dai confessed to buying the above amount of exploding fireworks for the purpose of burning them during the 2026 Lunar New Year.
The task force made a record of arresting the person who committed the crime red-handed against Vu Minh Dai for the act of storing prohibited goods, sealing and temporarily detaining all the above-mentioned exhibits for further verification and clarification.
