Information from Can Tho City Police, on December 27, Soc Trang Ward Police handed over 2 subjects, Huynh Thanh Nhi (born in 1978) and Danh Na (born in 1981), both residing in Phu Loi ward, to Long Phu Commune Police to investigate and clarify the act of property theft.
Previously, at about 2 am on the same day, during a night patrol and control in the area, when arriving in front of house number 389 Pham Hung street, Soc Trang Ward Police discovered Huynh Thanh Nhi and Danh Na driving motorbikes with suspicious signs, so they stopped the vehicles for inspection. Through inspection, functional forces discovered 2 subjects carrying 3 rolls of electric wire suspected of being stolen, so they invited them to Soc Trang Ward Police headquarters to work.
At the police station, the subjects confessed that at about 11 pm on December 26, the two invited each other to cut electric wires at street light poles on deserted roads in Long Phu commune. After stealing 3 rolls of electric wires, on the way to bring the exhibits back, they were discovered and arrested by Soc Trang Ward Police.
