Mr. Thai Ngoc Trung, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the High -Tech Park and Da Nang Industrial Zones (DHPIZI), said that the efforts and strategies of greening industrial parks in the city, affirming this is an indispensable trend of modern cities.
According to Mr. Trung, "green industry" is not merely planting trees, but also covering an overall strategy, towards cleaner production, minimizing the impact on the environment. This is reflected in reducing emissions, saving energy and water resources, using advanced and environmentally friendly production technology.
Mr. Trung added that industrial parks in Da Nang are being invested and maintained the ratio of greenery according to Vietnamese standards. The Management Board also actively encourages businesses to add greenery in the factory campus, contributing to creating a green landscape, improving the working environment and minimizing air pollution. However, the most important goal is to minimize the impact on the environment through changing production technology and reducing energy use.
In particular, the fact that Hoa Khanh Industrial Park (Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City) is participating in the Vietnam Ecological Industrial Park program has now completed half the way, promising to bring positive changes to the environment and the surrounding community. The city has also arranged nearly VND 50 billion to upgrade the technical infrastructure for Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, including improving the wastewater treatment system, enhancing green areas and optimizing internal transport system.
"As for industrial parks but not by the investment budget, the Board also has solutions and requires the business guidelines more interested in the green area of the environment," said Mr. Thai Ngoc Trung.
