Previously, at around 7:45 p.m. on November 16, while patrolling to ensure traffic safety near the Thieu Hoa bridge area, the Working Group of the Traffic Police Department led by Major Thieu Quang Hoang received a report that a young man was standing on the Thieu Hoa bridge in a state of psychological instability, suspected of wanting to jump from the bridge.
Immediately, the working group quickly approached the scene, proactively divided the flow, ensured traffic safety, and persistently mobilized, persuaded, and reassured the young man to calm down and give up his wild intentions.
After a short time, the authorities brought the young man to safety and handed him over to his family for further advice and care.
It is known that the young man's name is Q. (26 years old, residing in Thieu Hoa commune, Thanh Hoa province). Due to family conflicts, a broken spirit, and lack of control, Q. had the idea of committing suicide.
