U80 man dies after collision with tractor-trailer in Hai Phong

    Hai Phong - On April 28, the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City informed about the accident that left 1 person dead on the spot.

    The accident occurred at around 15:35 on April 27 at the Dang Kinh - inter-ward intersection (the section at the entrance to Nam Hai Secondary School, Nam Hai Ward, Hai An, Hai Phong).

    At this time, the tractor-trailer collided with a bicycle driven by Mr. L.X.Q (born in 1948, residing in Nam Hai Ward, Hai An District) from Dang Kinh turn into Nam Hai Secondary School. As a result, Mr. Q died on the spot.

    Initially, the authorities determined that the cause of the accident was due to the tractor-trailer changing direction and not ensuring safety. Mr. Q did not pay attention, leading to a traffic accident.

    The incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
