Accordingly, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City assigned the Department of Construction to announce the temporary suspension of transportation of cars and trucks from Dong Bai (in the direction from Cat Hai to Cat Ba Island) from April 26 to April 4 and weekends from May 10 to July 30. The temporary suspension period is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (except for priority vehicles according to regulations).

Arrange 3,000 vehicle parking points on the island
To make the ferry operate smoothly and not affected by tides, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City assigned the People's Committee of Cat Hai District to dredge the area in front of the two wharves of Dong Bai and Cai Vieng, to be completed before April 25. Along with that, urge and direct contractors to increase machinery, equipment, materials, human resources, and work overtime to speed up the construction progress of the Dong Bai - Cai Vieng ferry terminal renovation and expansion project, striving to complete and put into use before May 25.
The district ensures that before the April 30 and May 1 holidays, Dong Bai and Cai Vieng wharves can dock at least 2 ferries at a time; arrange areas that are qualified to accommodate tourists in the Dong Bai ferry terminal and Cat Ba island area, in which Cat Ba island area meets the needs of at least 3,000 cars of all kinds.
