Total investment of more than 200 billion VND, belonging to group B, using city budget capital.
The project is invested and managed by the Da Nang Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board. The goal is to focus on building a platform to serve research and development of artificial intelligence models and semiconductor microchip design for agencies and units in the area.
This infrastructure also supports investment attraction and promotes the innovative startup ecosystem. Technology businesses, especially in the fields of microchips, semiconductors and artificial intelligence, will have access to in-depth computing resources. The project also creates conditions to connect with universities and research institutes to serve training, research and technology transfer.
The investment scale includes hardware infrastructure, software and connectivity and integration systems. The entire system is designed in a modern direction, meeting the requirements of big data processing, high-performance computing and in-depth simulation. This is an important platform for developing artificial intelligence applications, data modeling and microchip design in the digital transformation context.
The project is implemented at the Data Center belonging to the ICT Building, Software Park No. 2. The implementation time lasts until 2028. After completion, the Da Nang Center for Research, Training, Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence will receive management, operation and exploitation.
Beneficiaries include domestic and foreign startups with projects in the city, universities, related training institutions, public service units under the Department of Science and Technology and related organizations. The Department of Science and Technology is responsible for organizing implementation, ensuring progress, quality and compliance with investment regulations.
The project is expected to create a modern digital infrastructure platform, contributing to the development of the digital economy, high-tech industry and smart city in Da Nang.
