At 12:00 noon on January 8, in Thanh Khe Tay ward, Thanh Khe district, Phu Loc Border Guard Station (Da Nang city) administratively inspected a Toyota car driven by Mr. Dang Quang Tan (born in 1992, residing in Hoa Tien commune, Hoa Vang district).
Upon inspection, a black plastic bag was found in the trunk of the car, containing a box of SKY 49 shots fireworks weighing 1.83 kg. Mr. Tan could not present any documents proving the origin of the box of fireworks.
The unit seized the exhibits and issued a decision to administratively sanction Mr. Dang Quang Tan for trading in firecrackers.
Previously, on January 5 and 6, the unit also discovered and handled 2 cases, administratively fined 2 juveniles for manufacturing and trading firecrackers. The seized evidence included 2.36 kg of firecrackers; 0.3 kg of firecrackers; 150 balls, 2.24 kg of sulfur powder and KCLo3 powder used to make firecrackers. Thereby, a decision was made to impose administrative penalties in the form of warnings and fines of 2,000,000 VND for the acts of manufacturing and trading firecrackers.
According to the Da Nang City Border Guard Command, before, during and after the Lunar New Year, the situation of law violations is complicated. The Command has requested units to focus on increasing forces to grasp the situation, patrol and strictly control the sea border area and port gates.
Timely detect and arrest law violations, especially drug crimes, smuggling, illegal immigration; proactively develop professional plans, establish special projects to combat and strictly handle them according to the provisions of law.
