On November 28, news from the People's Committee of Da Nang City said that the People's Committee of the city has just issued Plan No. 188/KH-UBND, Implementing the Project to Develop, Improve the capacity to respond to incidents, natural disasters and search and rescue until 2030, with a vision to 2045 in the city.
The general goal of the Plan is to improve understanding and skills in responding to natural disasters and search and rescue for the community; enhance professionalism for specialized forces and proactiveness for on-site forces.
Gradually improve the effectiveness of natural disaster response and search and rescue, minimize damage to people and property, protect the safety of people's lives and property and the city's infrastructure, contributing to stabilizing the socio-economy and strengthening national defense and security.
By 2030, 40% of the Project contents will be completed; by 2045, the tasks under the Project in Da Nang city will be completed.
