The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Decision No. 2332/QD-UBND approving the project to build, develop and expand digital infrastructure and cloud computing infrastructure of the city, with a total investment of more than 329 billion VND.
The project aims to meet the need to expand information infrastructure, serve the development of big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital government applications, smart cities, and digital economy.
According to the plan, the project will be implemented at the City Data Center and agencies and units in the area, using the central budget to support and implement in the period of 2025 - 2027.
The investment content focuses on upgrading and expanding the information technology infrastructure at the City Data Center, ensuring the capacity to serve comprehensive digital transformation. Specifically, the project will upgrade the technical system including power supply and backup sources, cooling systems, monitoring and operation of data centers; at the same time, expand the city's SD-WAN network to connect to the grassroots level.
