On September 2nd, Thang Binh Traffic Police Station, Da Nang City discovered a passenger car driver violating alcohol concentration while carrying 10 passengers.
At about 8:40 am on the same day, on National Highway 1, passing through Thang Binh area, the task force inspected driver N.T. C. (48 years old, residing in Quang Ngai province), and discovered that this person had an alcohol concentration of 0.022mg/l of breath.
At the time of inspection, Mr. C. was driving a 16-seater passenger car, with 10 passengers on board. The working group made a record of administrative violation, temporarily seized the vehicle and related documents according to regulations.
According to Da Nang City Police, in just the first 3 days of the National Day holiday on September 2nd, traffic police forces coordinated with commune and ward police to detect and handle 1,606 cases of traffic order and safety violations.
Among them, there were 108 cases of alcohol concentration violations and 804 cases of speeding.
Task forces continue to maintain day and night patrols in the city center, gateways, coastal routes, tourist attractions and crowded places; focus on checking alcohol concentration at night and strictly handling speed violations.
